Differenze fra Irlanda ed Italia #2

Sono stata qualche mese fa a fare un colloquio conoscitivo presso un'agenzia di head hunter. Nonostante avessero letto il mio cv e notato che lavoravo da dieci anni, mi hanno rinchiusa in uno stanzino e fatto fare un test di velocita' battitura tasti e vi assicuro che non era un ruolo di dattilografa, e qui mi chiedo ma esistono ancora le dattilografe?! e un test di velocita' di copiatura numeri, manco fossi DoNAscimentu che deve dare i numeri per il lotto di settimana prossima.

Dopo questo scintillio di professionalita' non mi chiamano per mesi, anche se ogni giorno in Dublino trovi migliaia di annunci lavorativi. Venerdi' scorso mi hanno ricontattata e mi hanno fissato per oggi una interview con lo studio fotografico piu' grande di Dublino, a detta del loro sito.

Notare che a Dublino ognuno puo' darsi il titolo che gli pare. Una volta su una stradina di periferia ho visto un negozietto con dentro un cinesino che faceva pizze orripilanti e sull'insegna c'era scritto. NIK - Probably the best pizza in the planet!...GUSP!

Comunque la professionalissima agenzia mi invia un memorandum con tutti i dati del colloquio di oggi e con questi simpatici allegati. Leggere per credere! Il ruolo e' come senior financial account, diciamo un nostro capo contabile.

How to Dress for an Interview:

Women's Interview Attire
Suit (navy, black or dark grey)
The suit skirt should be long enough so you can sit down comfortably
Coordinated blouse
Conservative shoes
Limited jewellery (no dangling earrings or arms full of bracelets)
Professional hairstyle
Light make-up and perfume
Neatly manicured clean nails Portfolio or briefcase

What Not to Bring to the Interview
Gum
Cell phone (make sure this is turned off before you enter the companies premises)
Ipod
Coffee or soft drinks
If you have lots of piercings, leave some of your rings at home (earrings only, is a good rule)
Cover tattoos if possible

Interview Attire Tips
Before you even think about going on an interview, make sure you have appropriate interview attire and everything fits correctly.
Get your clothes ready the night before, so you don't have to spend time getting them ready on the day of the interview.
If your clothes are dry clean only, take them to the cleaners after an interview, so they are ready for next time.
Polish your shoes.
Bring a breath mint and use it before you enter the building.

Vi risparmio gli altri due allegati. Uno e' su come essere confident mentre vai ad una interview e l'altro ti suggeriscono le domande che potrebbero farti. Oh forse non ve li risparmio, ma li allego nei prossimi giorni. Aahhaha.
Avete visto a proposito di interview quella a Will Smith nel film "The pursuit of happiness". Bellissima. E come disse il mitico Pollo rispondendo alle classiche domande del cazzo.
